SALEM – The Flandreau Blue Teal picked up a road win Thursday against the Salem Cubs, 10-5, using a big four inning sixth inning. Their season record is now 2-2.
The Blue Teal batted out 11 hits including five doubles off the bats of Emmot Nathan and Kolby Peters with two each and Michael Witte.
Tash Lunday pitched the win striking out seven Cubs, allowing four hits and three runs.
Brendan Gregory came in and could not get a batter out but allowed two runs. Peters came in for the final outs.
Dane Mediger, Peters and Witte each had two RBI and Mediger scored two Blue Teal runs.
