CLEAR LAKE – Using strength in numbers, the Flier wrestling team won all three duals on Tuesday, Feb. 4 in the Deuel gym.
Flandreau defeated Hamlin/Castlewood, 57-12, Howard 60-23 and Deuel/Deubrook Area, 41-33.
Having a near full roster, the Fliers won nine forfeits over H/C, seven over Howard and four over D/D.
Six Fliers recorded three wins at the quadrangular.
Teague Bergjord picked up two forfeits and then hit a major highlight in his career by recording his 100th career win using a 15-0 tech fall over D/D’s Erich Fokken. All his matches were in the 120 pound class.
