Barnes-Evans meet results

FLANDREAU – Flandreau hosted the Barnes-Evans Relays on Tuesday, April 8. It was the first time in many years that the weather conditions allowed the meet to take place. Winds were a bit of hampering factor during the meet. The top six place winners for Colman-Egan, Flandreau Indians and the host Fliers are listed below.
Boys
Amos Rockman won the boys 1600 meter run, 5:07.40 for the lone first place finish by the Flandreau Indians.
For Colman-Egan, Chris Lee won the 100 meter dash in 11.19 and Jase Mousel won the 200 in a time of 23.29. The 4x200 relay team of Jack Mousel, Jackson Zwart, Jase Mousel and Lee won in a time of 1:33.65. Field event winners were Jase Mousel in high jump at 6’1” and Jack Mousel in long jump at 19’9.5”.
Flandreau boys earned one first place coming from Sam Schmidt in the 3200 meter run with his time of 11:22.31.
Girls
First place winners for the Hawk girls were Jolie Flatten in the 400 meter, 1:00.94, Michoen Williamson in the shot with a throw of 35’5’ and Anna Zwart was a double winner taking the discus, 105’11” and the javelin, 106’10”.
The Hawks took two relays winning the 4x100 in 52.77 with teammates Elaina Rhode, Anya Hemmer, Finley Luze and Crystal Silva, and the 4x400 in 4:26.02 with the team of Presley Luze, Finley Luze, Avery Baumberger and Brynlee Landis.
For the Flier girls, Faith Wiese won the 1600 meter run in 5:12.06 and Josie Hamilton took the 3200 meter in 12:32.73. The Fliers also picked up a win in the medley relay, 4:23.61, by the foursome of Ella Hoffman, Kiley Westberry, Morgan Sheppard and Wiese.
