The FHS Oral Interp team members were named Region 3A Champions at the region interp contest held November 18 at SDSU and will now head to the State Oral Interpretation Festival in Sturgis on December 6-7. From left, Jillian Knippling will compete in Humorous, Abby Lewis will compete in Non-Original Oratory, Isabel Kulm will compete in Serious/Dramatic, Ben Kulm in Storytelling, and Ben Kulm and Abe Streitz will compete in Duo. In addition, all five members will advance to compete in the Reader’s Theatre category. “I’m very proud of these students and their performances. They are all talented and hard-working – they are all great to work with,” said their Coach Kristi Fischer, shown in back. Throughout the year, these students and others, Justin Haugen, Sheyenne Roubideaux, Tillie Haugen, Alex Julson, Dillyn Opsahl, Dasha Pedraza-Felix, and Piper Haugen, all saw success.
