With change there is usually a couple of hiccups. The City of Flandreau thinks you may notice a small hiccup on your utility bill this month; more specifically, the due date.
This month when prepping utilities bills changing the due date from 2/15/23 to 3/15/23 was overlooked. The City would like residents to know the due date on their bill is the 15th of March with late fees being added after that date.
A new benefit added with the system upgrade is the city can now take credit and debit cards. There is a processing fee of 3.7% automatically added to the amount of the bill. Cash, check, money orders, and bank draft withdrawals are also accepted.
