A (Flandreau, SD) – Boys & Girls Club of Moody County hosted their 11th Annual Raffle Drawing Event on the evening of Wednesday, June 28, at the Club. The community was invited to enjoy a free meal, fun games, inflatables, and additional present-to-win prizes. Individuals who purchased a 2023 Boys & Girls Club Shed Raffle ticket had the chance to win a 10’ x 16’ Old Hickory Brand Lofted Playhouse Shed or $3,000 cash.
The winner of the 2023 grand prize was Brenda Standifer of Egan, SD.
The shed raffle is Boys & Girls Club of Moody County’s largest fundraiser of the year and supports over 460 youth in the Moody County community by providing a safe and positive place to go after school and in the summer. Because of support from the Moody County community and donors, the Club is able to serve youth from Jr. Kindergarten to 12th for an annual membership cost of only $25. The Club provides youth a safe, positive place to go and participate in fun and engaging programming in the priority areas of academic success, good character & leadership, and healthy lifestyles.
