Mike Blum, at left, local representative of Wilbur-Ellis Chester, presented a check to Marty Skroch, a member of the Team of Angels Foundation’s Board of Directors, for $2500 to assist the organization with the services they provide to area cancer patients. Wilbur-Ellis Chester has made a commitment to the area communities by promoting the “Pink Seed Program,” which donates a portion of their soybean seed treatment income to local cancer organizations. Through the past few years, they have donated around $30,000. Blum said that his company feels that the Team of Angels provides a much needed service to those in cancer treatment and recovery, and are pleased to be involved with them.” The Team of Angels is available to provide financial assistance for travel expenses of those who are going through cancer treatments.
