The Flandreau Flier Volleyball team is joining the battle against breast cancer by holding a “Think Pink” event on Tuesday, October 17th.
The event will be held in the Flandreau Elementary School Gymnasium during the match with Parker.
There will be many different fun ways to help support their cause, which is bringing awareness to, and raising funds to fight breast cancer.
You can visit many area businesses and donated to “Give Breast Cancer the Boot”, 7th and 8th graders are selling chances to, “Chuck a Duck” at the game on the same evening. You can buy a T-shirt online at: http://FHSdigpink.itemorder.com or stop by the high school office for an order form. They are selling “Best Seat in the House” chances, and what sounds like the most entertaining event the “Kiss the Pig” event where you vote for your favorite “celebrity” to kiss a pig! Plan to help support the girl’s volleyball team with this worthy cause.
