Three county musicians earn way to Middle School All-State Band

Two students from Colman-Egan’s music department will be in the South Dakota Middle School All-State Band concert which will be held March 3rd in Pierre.
Nevaeh Smith (8th grade) was accepted for the second year in a row and will sit 5th chair flute in the band. Jenna Olson (6th grade) is a first time achiever and is the 5th chair French Horn in the band. Ronda Palmlund-Olson is their director and she says, “These students put hours and hours and hours of practice in and I couldn't be more proud of them.” The concert is usually aired on SDPB over the Memorial Day Weekend.
