BROOKINGS – The Flandreau girls took 11th and the boys finished tied for 18th in the Scott Underwood Invite on Monday at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.
Girls
The Fliers’ Madeline Hursey placed fifth in the 3,200 (13:01.78) and eighth in the 1,600 (5:51.34).
Hannah Parsley crossed fourth in the 400 in 1:05.83 and Ashtyn Bertram matched that finish in the 100 with a 13.24 clocking. Mara Lunday took eighth in the 800 (2:44.09).
Cassidy Keith, Kathy Parsley, Bertram and Marianna Pavlis teamed to take fourth in the 4x100 in 54.42. Keith, Hannah Parsley, Lunday and Bertram were seventh in the 4x400 in 4:30.27.
Boys
The Fliers’ Gabe Hobbie was eighth in the 3,200 in 12:07.75.
Michael Witte, Brendan Ten Eyck, Eduardo Povea and Andrew Julson placed seventh in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:54.06.
