WHITE – Colman-Egan won the boys’ team title in the Deubrook Area Invite on Monday afternoon at Six Mile Creek Golf Course.
The Hawks shot 255 to edge runner-up Great Plains Lutheran (256). The host Dolphins and Hamlin were third and fourth, respectively, at 263.
The Chargers’ Devan Weelborg took home top individual honors after carding a 5-over-par 77. The Panthers’ Aiden Holien (80) was runnerup.
The Hawks’ Kade Groos (80) placed third and teammate Mason Hemmer (83) was fourth. Arlington/Lake Preston’s Haydn Gilbertson (84) rounded out the top five.
Completing Colman-Egan’s team tally, Bodee Groos finished 15th with a 92. Also for the Hawks, Chandler Gullickson shot 96.
Devon Burggraff, Flandreau’s lone competitor, shot 109.
On the girls’ side, Deubrook put its three scorers in the top four – including medalist Caitlyn Christianson – while shooting a team score of 251 to take the championship.
Castlewood was second at 278, followed by Flandreau (296) in third.
Christianson fired a 6-over-par 78. Teammate Courtni Frank placed second with an 83.
Grace Johanson shot 96 and placed ninth to lead the Fliers. Destiny Nelson was 11th with a 97. Keva Burshiem’s 103 completed the Fliers’ team tally. Alaina Cloud added
