Sucker Sales Successful for Veterans Memorial

Posted

It was a sweet time to be at either the Colman-Egan or Flandreau basketball games recently when the members of the Happy Youngsters 4-H Club sold their homemade suckers. The club is helping raise funds for the Colman Veterans Memorial to be built on the east edge of Colman. Through their hard work they sold $488.50 worth of sweet treats. Members have a goal of purchasing one of the statues for the memorial and will also help with the landscaping of the area around the memorial after it is built.
