Seventh grader golfs in first State meet

Flandreau seventh grader, Kaden Burshiem, qualified for his first state prep golf meet and took 66th place.
The State A Golf Meet was held  in Hot Springs, October 5 & 6. Burshiem shot a 98 on Monday and a 94 on Tuesday.
“Kaden had amazing shots with controlled putts and soaring drives,” said his coach Adam Anderson.
“A few hazards tripped him up, but Kaden kept on pushing through and regained his composure.”
He also said that Burshiem practiced and performed strong on the course. He calculated every shot and did his best to figure out where he wanted his next shot to land.
