Flandreau Rodeo Days drew crowds of fans and participants to town Friday and Saturday and grounds across from the event organizer, the Royal River Casino. The casino management is considering making the rodeo an annual event.
Contestants watch other participants during Friday afternoon’s barrel racing. The rodeos, one on Friday and one on Saturday, had a dozen events each day.
The rodeo put on by the Royal River Casino drew contestants from South Dakota and several states. The event also included food and merchandise vendors.
