The Amazing Puppet Talent Show, a variety show starring PUPPETS presented by Brent Allan and friends, is coming to the Flandreau Community Center on Wednesday, June 21 at 7pm for an evening of fun and laughter.
This high-energy show is full of hysterical comedy as a group of puppets puts on a variety show and demonstrate their weird and outrageous talents that the audience will love!
Not only will the kids laugh and have a great time, but the program also has a strong message about reading and highlights books from the library.
The show is a free event sponsored by the Moody County Resource Center, who hopes to see everyone and their families to help determine the winner of the variety show.
The Moody County Resource Center has lots of free and fun events going on for kids this summer. The only restriction is kids must be Moody County residents or visiting for the summer.
Here are some of the events currently going on in June & July: They will be playing games & making crafts every week divided into age groups. Wednesday at 1pm kindergarteners through fourth graders and fifth graders and up on Tuesdays at 1pm.
There is story time on Thursdays at 10 am for pre-kindergarten to early elementary.
Kids can also pick up a reading gameboard at the MCRC or visit the MCRC Facebook page called “Moody County Resource Center” to print one from home. On the gameboard kids will track their reading to win prizes such as a Spot Drive In ice cream cone, book of choice, and more. There will also be grand prizes based on age divisions.
