Plaid for Ron to benefit ACS

Posted

For the 19th year, staff members at Flandreau Public School are encouraged to dress in plaid shirts to honor the memory of long-time Spafford School custodian, Ron Green. Mr. Green was well known for his plaid shirts and blue jeans attire at school. Each year, the staff honors him near his birthday, which was February 23, by wearing plaid shirts and blue and giving a $5 donation to the Moody County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Mr. Green’s mother, Dorothy, also donated $100 to the group’s efforts. This photo is mostly of Elementary Staff, but the Middle and High School staff members contributed to bring the total to $295.
