Pick up two volleyball wins

COLMAN – The Hawks defeated the Tigers in four sets on Tuesday, Sept. 27 winning by scores of 19-25, 25-13, 25-21, 25-19.
Daniela Lee led the way for Colman-Egan picking up a team-high 25 kills to go with eight kills, five blocks and an ace. Ava Mousel also came up big, recording 13 digs and eight assists in the victory.
Lanie Mousel had 16 assists and seven blocks for the Hawks while Kadance Landis had 11 kills and four blocks and Elaine Rhode had 11 kills and five blocks. Kaylee Voelker also had 14 digs and Berkley Groos collected 11 digs.
Tara Hoyer led Howard with a team-high 19 kills on the night while Tara Hoyer posted team-highs with 16 digs and 30 assists. Abby Aslesen had seven kills, two blocks and three digs, Landree Callies had six kills, six digs, two blocks and three assists. Piper Thompson had 12 digs, eight kills, two aces and two assists, Marina Kollmann had five digs, Canyon Kidd had 12 digs and an ace and Becca Feldhaus had six kills, four assists, three digs and a block.


COLMAN – The Hawks outlasted the Warriors on Thursday, Sept. 29, winning in five sets by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 14-25, 25-18, 15-11.
Daniela Lee led the come-from-behind victory by the Hawks, racking up 11 kills and 23 digs and eight blocks on the night. Lanie Mousel had 25 assists for Colman-Eagan while Ava Mousel had 20 assists. Dance Landis had 10 kills and five blocks, Abby Rhode had eight kills and seven blocks, Berkley Groos had 22 digs and nine kills, Brynlee Landis had nine kills and six blocks and Presley Luze had 15 digs.
Gracie Haug had a big night for the Warriors, collecting 42 assists and 32 digs. Mackenzie Everson had 28 digs and six kills, Madeline Horn had 18 digs and 10 kills, Presley Knecht had 16 kills and Cassidy Kirwan had nine digs and six kills.
The Hawks improved to 12-6 with the win and were to make the short trip to visit a tough Chester team on Monday, their lone contest of the week.
