Member of the Flandreau United Methodist youth braved the cold temperatures to bring a “Living Nativity” to the community on Christmas Eve. The nativity was held from 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, and was immediately followed by the annual candle light service at FUMC. People stopping to witness the event were treated to hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes. Animals for the nativity were provided by Shannon and Jean Pulscher.
