National Night Out drew hundreds of residents to the Flandreau Aquatic Center park for hotdogs, a dunk tank, prizes and practice at running a fire hose. Officers and deputies serve hotdogs to those who came to spend time meeting with first responders and neighbors on Aug. 6. Here Arylce and Wayne Derdall are served by Flandreau Police Officers Tony Garcia and Elijah Rupe. The event was put on by the Flandreau Police Department, Moody County Sheriff’s Office, Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe law enforcement, the Flandreau Fire Department and Moody County Ambulance.
