Lisa Husaboe, 40, of Trent, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Riverview Healthcare Center in Flandreau.
Lisa was born on January 31, 1979 at Watertown, SD. She was placed with Bill and Marlene Husaboe on April 17, 1979. The couple adopted her in October of 1981. She grew up in Trent and attended CCHS from 1983-1999. She graduated with the class of 2000 from CCHS. She then moved to ADVANCE in Brookings, SD where she lived for 17 years. She moved in with her sister and brother-in-law, Tamara and Jacob where she lived until the time of her death.
She was a member of the Trent Baptist Church, the Trent Study Club and the Trent Senior Citizens. Lisa loved people of all ages, her church community, her time spent with family and traveling.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents: William and Marlene Husaboe of Trent; her sister: Tamara (Jacob) Liesinger of Trent; her brothers: Lawrence (Teresa) Husaboe of Pierre, Travis Husaboe of Trent, James (Rebecca) Dubro of Harrisburg and Paul Husaboe of Dell Rapids; her niece, Juzeah Husaboe of Pierre, her nephew Luken Dubro of Harrisburg, her future niece, baby Liesinger and her extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Maimie Husaboe and Lynn and Celia Jorgenson, her aunts, Donna Marshall and Karen Husaboe and her uncles, Merle Marshall and Phil Caruso.
Her funeral service was Thursday, April 11, 2019 in the Trent Baptist Church.
