Flandreau Elementary recently completed this year’s Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. This year the students raised $5,780 for the event. Above, the student who raised the most money, 3rd grader Braxton Julson, was rewarded with the opportunity to shave off Elementary Principal Mr. Jay Swatek’s beard.
Four more top sales students were rewarded with the opportunity to dress up Mr. Derek Genzlinger, the physical education teacher, like a circus clown. They were Charley Henderson, Julianna Gaspar, Brody Johnson and Titus Tollefson.
In addition to this, the top class, Mrs. Gail Keating’s, will have Mr. Genzlinger work with their teacher as a room helper for a day.
