Workers pour the cement mixture Monday for the deck on the new Ward Road bridge, which is expected to be completed this year. It took workers a day to complete the pour to meet the state’s Nov. 1 deadline to stop concrete work until spring. The bridge has been closed for three harvests after it failed and had a weight limit to cross it before that. The replacement bridge is being paid for by the state’s Bridge Improvement Grant project and Moody County taxpayer money.
