It Feels So Good to be Back!

The Colman-Egan Hawks will send a team to the Class B state volleyball tournament this weekend after they defeated Miller 3-0, to earn the fifth seed at State. Lady Hawks head to State B Volleyball Championships

MADISON – For the second straight season, the Colman-Egan Hawks will send a volleyball team to the State Class B tournament.
The Lady Hawks handily defeated the Miller Rustlers last Thursday in a SoDak 16 contest held in Madison.
Final scores in the three-game set were 25-14, 25-13, 25-17.
Hailey Larson scored six points on kills. She was assisted in many of them by Ava Mousel who averaged 5.3 assists per contest.
Berkley Groos dug out 14 digs and Mackenzie Hemmer had four blocks.
Colman-Egan, 25-7, is on a five-game winning streak and will face local rival Chester Area in the opening round on Thursday. The Flyers have a 26-5 record and won over Colman-Egan in their only matchup this season, 3-1.
The Lady Hawks are the number five seed and Chester Area is four. First serve is at 1:45 p.m. mountain time in the Summit Arena at the Monument in Rapid City (formerly known as the Rushmore Civic Center).
