Hospital Auxiliary awards Scholarship Begin “Roses…Just Because” campaign for the year

The Avera Flandreau Hospital Auxiliary announces that the recipient of the scholarship awarded for 2017 is Victoria (Tori) Nelsen of Colman. She is continuing her education in Health Science and Occupational Therapy.

The auxiliary is able to award this scholarship, and many others in previous years, because of the community’s support of the “Roses…Just Because” program. This program is beginning again and the group would appreciate support of this program again so they can continue to award scholarship money. The money is available in scholarship form for a Moody County High School graduate who is at least mid-way through their medical degree program, no matter the length of the program.

The Roses…Just Because programs is going on now through March 16. Orders are $25 for a dozen roses. Contact any hospital auxiliary member or contact one of the following: Anna at 997-2786 or 864-3291, or Brenda at 997-3536 or 530-0621, or Tracy at Avera Flandreau Clinic, 997-2471.

Roses are picked up on Tuesday, April 17 at the Avera Flandreau Medical Clinic between 3 and 6 p.m. There is a first come-first choice on the colors of the roses that day.
