Holiday Parade and Lighting set Nov. 25

The annual Christmas Parade in downtown Flandreau will continue as it does each year the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 25.
This year’s theme, say organizers, is “Country Christmas.”
Parade lineup begins south of the Moody County Courthouse at 5:30 p.m. with the parade set to begin at 6 pm.
Following the parade, a tree lighting ceremony will then be held along with caroling and the Tour of Trees inside the Courthouse once participants and parade goers arrive.
Meanwhile, local downtown Flandreau businesses plan to again encourage visitors throughout the afternoon and early evening as they serve up refreshments and other goodies both inside and outside of their businesses.
