Hawks volleyball ready for post season


COLMAN – The Hawks swept the Lady Cardinals 25-20, 25-14, 25-12. They are now 20-7 on the season.
Olivia Baumberger had nine blocks and eight kills for CE. Mackenzie Hemmer had nine kills, five blocks four digs and two aces. Braiden Westley led the Hawks with eight digs and Jordan Wittrock had a team-high 13 assists. Hailey Larson had four kills and Madison Fodness had four blocks.
DRSM had 27 kills and 38 digs as a team. The Hawks play Garretson at home tonight and DRSM finished the season 10-15.
COLMAN – Garretson beat Colman-Egan 25-19, 25-21, 25-27, 25-19 in a volleyball match Tuesday.
The Hawks finished the regular season with a record of 21-8.
Jaelyn Benson led the Blue Dragons with 29 assists and 16 digs. Lily Ranschau had 17 digs and 11 kills. Kennedy Buckneberg had 11 kills and seven digs. Lauren Heesch had 18 digs and Peyton Hove had 16. Logan Bly had nine kills and Lizzie Olson had five.
Mackenzie Hemmer had 11 digs, nine blocks and nine kills for the Hawks. Braiden Westley and Elizabeth Moore each had 21 digs. Kennidi Landis had 10 assists and Jordan Wittrock had nine. Olivia Baumberger had eight blocks and five kills. Hailey Larson had five blocks and two kills.
Colman-Egan was to face Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (11-12) in the Region 4B quarterfinals.
