Hawks top Flyers, Divers, Knights

CHESTER – Colman-Egan dropped Chester Area 65-52 in a nonconference boys’ basketball game Monday night.

Keith Crisp dropped in a game-high 24 points and Bodee Groos added 14 for the Hawks.

Colman-Egan led 21-11 after a quarter, 41-26 at halftime and 51-37 through three.

The Flyers’ Devin Eppard totaled 22 points, seven assists and six rebounds.


At Pentagon Classic

SIOUX FALLS – Bodee Groos totaled 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals to lead the Hawks past Aberdeen Christian, 48-33, in the Sanford Pentagon Classic on Saturday morning.

Colman-Egan led 7-5 after a quarter, 18-16 at halftime and 31-24 through three.

Dalton Voelker added 13 points and eight boards. Keith Crisp contributed seven points and six rebounds. Kade Groos chipped in with six markers, Chase Hemmer five and Alec Landis two.

For Aberdeen Christian (11-6), Jackson Becker finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Andrew Rohrbach added 10 points.

Vs. Lake Preston

The Hawks also defeated Lake Preston, 54-38, but no other information is available.

Colman-Egan is now 11-4, having won the last eight games they’ve played.
