Hawks ready for Homecoming at the net


The Hawks won the first two sets by scores of 25-21 and 25-20. The Cougars were able to force a fourth set with a 25-21 win in the third. C-E then closed things out with a 25-22 victory in set four and improved to 4-2 on the season.
Daniela Lee led the Hawks with 14 kills, 12 digs, five blocks and three aces. Brynlee Landis had 12 kills and 10 digs. Lanie Mousel had 20 assists and 10 digs. Berkley Groos had 15 digs and Abby Rhode had eight blocks. Kadance Landis had seven kills.
The Cougars were led by Brandy Pulse who had 16 digs and 12 kills. Tayah McGregor had 14 kills and Michaela MCormick had 14 digs. Aubree Kranz had 26 digs and Kayla Vander Woude had nine blocks and seven kills. Brianna Even had 27 assists and Maddy Lauck had 11.
Colman-Egan played at Iroquois/Lake Preston on Thursday and won in three sets, 25-21, 25-21 and 25-6.
Saturday, they were in the Hamlin Tourney. Only game with a score is a loss to Castlewood,  1-2. Scores were 24-26, 25-16, 20-25.
This week for Homecoming they were to host Canistota on Tuesday and a good Elkton/Lake Benton team on Thursday. They are to play in the Pentagon on Saturday with a yet to be determined opponent and time.
