SIOUX FALLS – Dalton Voelker recorded another double-double and the Hawks pulled away in the second half to beat Bon Homme 47-34 during the Sanford Pentagon Classic on Saturday at Heritage Court.
Colman-Egan was up 7-4 after a quarter, 22-18 at halftime and 35-25 through three.
Voelker scored 16 points on 6-of-6 shooting and corralled 10 rebounds. He also dished out six assists and blocked a pair of shots.
Nate Tolley added 12 points, Alec Landis nine and Chase Hemmer eight. Tolley grabbed nine boards, while Hemmer recorded six assists and came up with three steals.
The Hawks shot 47.4 percent (18-of-38) from the field and limited the Cavaliers to 25.5 percent (12-of-47).
Bon Homme’s Joey Slama had 16 points on 6-of-23 shooting. Nate Scieszinski added 12 markers.
WHITE – Colman-Egan defeated Deubrook Area 57-49 in a Dakota Valley Conference boys’ basketball game Thursday.
The Hawks led 18-13 after a quarter, 27-19 at halftime and 41-36 through three.
Dalton Voelker notched a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. He finished 8-of-12 from the field.
Alec Landis scored 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting. Nate Tolley hit three treys.
The Dolphins’ Clayton Koppatschek finished with 15 points.
Brock Sheffield had 10 points and eight rebounds. Colby Trooien chipped in with nine markers.
