COLMAN – Colman-Egan overcame an early deficit to beat De Smet 34-12 in a Dakota Valley Conference football game Friday night.

The Hawks’ Eli Bowen found the end zone from a yard out later in the first to cut the lead in half.
Colman-Egan took control after that.

Bowen had a 3-yard TD rush and added the two-point conversion in the second quarter. Ryan Voelker caught a 27-yard touchdown toss from Nate Tolley later in the period. Chase Hemmer’s two-point conversion run made it 22-12.
Hemmer had TD rushes of 15 yards in the third quarter and 24 yards in the fourth to help the Hawks seal the deal.
Colman-Egan racked up 297 yards on 42 rushes.
