Hawk netters up record with wins over FIS, Lake Preston

COLMAN – The Hawks swept Flandreau Indian School in a nonconference volleyball matchup Tuesday by the set scores of 25-4, 25-11 and 25-5.
Olivia Baumberger led the way with four kills, as Braden Westley and Mackenzie Hemmer both contributed three.
Kennedi Landis netted seven service aces, and Jordan Wittrock and Elizabeth Moore each added three.
Katie Hannasch had a pair of blocks.
Moore had six digs. Landis and Wittrock dished out five set assists apiece.

LAKE PRESTON – Colman-Egan defeated Lake Preston 21-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-9 in a Dakota Valley Conference volleyball match Thursday night.
Olivia Baumberger led a balanced Hawk offense with six kills, and Mackenzie Hemmer, Madison Voelker and Katie Hannasch added five apiece.
Braiden Westley and Elizabeth Moore netted four service aces apiece. Hannasch and Baumberger both notched three blocks and Hemmer added a pair.
Kennedi Landis dished out 12 set assists. Moore came up with 13 digs, Jordan Wittrock 11 and Westley nine.
The Divers’ Lindsay Hillestad totaled 10 kills, an ace and a block.
Lexie Larsen had 12 set assists. Annika Nelson notched seven digs and Marissa Rober six.
Colman-Egan (7-2, 3-0) heads to Deubrook Area on Tuesday.
