The Boys and Girls Club of Moody County is seeking your input as Club officials plan for a sizable new addition. This Thursday night, the Club is hosting an Expansion Town Hall Meeting. From 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Club, you’re asked to come, learn about plans for a sizable addition and offer input as to what might work best for you and your families.
“Your voice, thoughts, and feedback are important as the Club discusses current and future facility or program opportunities for kids and families within Flandreau and identifies the greatest needs or areas of improvement for the Club and community,” program officials stated in a release.
As more and more families take advantage of the resources that the Club is able to provide throughout the school year and summer, the current space just isn’t enough to accommodate the demand and need.
Community members and member families can go online to https://www.greatfuturessd.org/moody-county as well and share thoughts through a survey that the Club has created. Comments will go toward planning and consideration of programming opportunities and needs. Paper copies are available as well in both English and Spanish at the Club’s front desk.
