Golf team second at Madison

MADISON – The Flandreau boys’ golf team came in second place at the Madison Triangular on Tuesday. The Fliers shot a team total of 196 to sit in second.
Every player only played nine holes. Host Madison won the event with a score of 196. Tri-Valley finished one stroke behind Flandreau with a score of 197.
Kaden Burshiem had the top score for the Fliers with a 45 and he came in fourth. Alfie Henderson tied for fifth with a score of 46. Brant LeBrun tied for ninth with a 52 and Jon Burshiem rounded things out for Flandreau, tying for 11th with a 53.
Madison had both the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Jack Olson came in first with a 39 and Kaden Guischer came in second with a 41. Carson Sanders of Tri Valley came in third with a 43.
Flandreau was to play in the Watertown Invite on Tuesday at Cattail Crossing Golf Course.
