From the FDC: Reservations for annual meeting due Friday

We are excited to announce plans for this year’s Annual Membership Meeting of the Flandreau Development Corporation and we are sincerely hoping you will join us for this inspiring evening of conversation and camaraderie. Thursday, April 5th, we will convene in the Royal Room at Royal River Casino, 607 S. Veterans St., Flandreau.

Social hour and hors d’oeuvres begin at 5:30 p.m., with our meeting, a panel discussion, meal and selection of locally sourced desserts to follow. The buffet will include a choice of prime rib and be available at a cost of $19.95 per person.

Please note that the meal cost will be payable at the door only via check or cash. FDC will cover gratuity.

In regard to the panel discussion, we are thrilled to be joined that evening by several outstanding professionals and entrepreneurs - each with local ties - to talk about their own successes and perspective on opportunities for community growth.

• Dr. Ashley Podhradsky (Schmidt) is a professor of digital forensics at Dakota State University in Madison, co-founder of CybHER, director of GenCyber Girls in CybHER Security, and the 2017 recipient of the EmBe Award for Young Woman of Achievement.
• Michael Haskett is the owner and executive chef of M.B. Haskett Delicatessen in downtown Sioux Falls. Michael is a Moody County resident and lives just north of Dell Rapids with his family on the farm where he grows the food that he uses in his award-winning dishes.
• Katie Luttmann is the owner of the Mason Jar Boutique in Dell Rapids. Her store boasts over 300,000 followers on Facebook alone. She is also the owner of Mason Jar Consulting.
• Jeff Eckhoff is the State Director of the South Dakota Small Business Development Center, a full service business consulting and development program for South Dakota entrepreneurs.
