FLANDREAU – Nash Grantham had 16 points and Brooker Noem added eight as the Chargers shocked the Fliers, 43-42, in the Region 2A boys’ basketball quarterfinal Tuesday night.
Flandreau’s Tash Lunday concluded a standout sophomore campaign with another double-double – 28 points and 13 rebounds. Alex Anderson added seven markers.
“It was a tough game to end our season,.” said Coach Brendan Sheppard.
“We competed really hard and played solid defense. However, we had ample opportunities to finish plays around the basket and just didn’t get it done.”
“Overall, we had a nice year. We were very young and will have a great group returning next year. This group has a solid work ethic and I’m looking for huge improvement individually and as a team.” Coach Sheppard
The Fliers finished the year 12-9.
