Money raised in the community after the Flandreau Meat Locker fire have been shared three places.
The Flandreau Faith Community held a benefit in August 2017 and have distributed the $17,899.10 raised after expenses to help rebuild the new locker building.
The group gave $6,480.86 to Hobart’s Equipment, $7,313,19 to North Central Food Processing Supply and $4,105.05 to the Flandreau Meat Locker, according to the Rev. Ann Spitzenberger of Second Presbyterian Church and chairwoman of the Locker benefit committee.
The business is being built on Veteran’s Street across from the Royal River Casino.
