Flandreau High School Graduation

Trevor Hahn leads his classmates out after commencement exercises May 19. The Flandreau High School Class of 2018 included 41 graduates. The Class of 2018 listened to messages from teacher Travis Ahrens and class president Gabrielle Drapeau before taking the stage to receive their diplomas. Ahrens told graduates to embrace the future, embrace serving, embrace being their best and embrace adversity. “Think of yourself as a project that is not quite finished,” he said. “Figure it out for yourself and go do it.”

Drapeau spoke to fellow classmates about the chosen class motto, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
