The city of Flandreau and Det. 1 of the 1742nd Transportation Co. of the S.D. Army National Guard will be hauling wood-framed products (furniture, doors, windows, etc.) this year.
THIS IS ALL THAT WILL BE PICKED UP THIS YEAR. NO metal, appliances, concrete, paints or other hazardous chemicals/liquids will be picked up this year.
Other household waste and trash, etc. should be put out weekly for regular garbage pickup. Yard waste, tree debris and limbs can be taken to the restricted landfill. This is for Flandreau city residents only.
Citizens can start placing wood framed products out on street curbs September 13 through September 15.
Pickup will start September 16 at 6 a.m. The city will only be canvassed one time. There will be no alley pick up.
All items for cleanup must be placed on the street next to the curb prior to 6 a.m. on September 16.
