The Flandreau 16U VFW baseball team will play in the Class A State VFW tournament this weekend in Dakota Valley. They defeated Claremont, 11-1 and Milbank, 8-7, last week in Region 2 play, but fell twice to a solid Volga team in scores of 10-7 and 12-7 to take second. Two teams from each region advances to state.
