COLMAN – The Estelline/Hendricks girls and Dell Rapids St. Mary boys won team titles at the Dakota Valley Conference Cross Country Meet on Wednesday at Sunrise Ridge.
Girls
Deubrook Area’s Ellie Olsen placed first in the 5K race with a time of 20 minutes, 30.88 seconds.
The Redhawks and Dolphins both totaled 14 team points, with Estelline/Hendricks winning the tiebreaker – fastest fourth runner.
Colman-Egan ended up third in the team standings with 19 points.
The Hawks’ Reese Luze was runner-up with a 21:39.34 clocking. Colman-Egan’s Abby Rhode (22:07.59) placed sixth.
Completing the Hawks’ team tally, Presley Luze (23:07.72) placed 13th.
