Both of Dave Jewett’s holes-in-one came on a holiday, the most recent on July 4 at the Flandreau golf course.
About 1 p.m., Jewett hit his ball into the cup on hole 5, the shortest hole on the course, a play that was witnessed by John Shaeffer and Dick Emter, regular golfing partners.
“We play every day, seven days a week,” Jewett said.
Jewett’s only other hole-in-one was on Father’s Day a few years ago at The Lakes golf course near Madison. He hit it in the cup on hole 2.
