Corey Kilber, age 47, of Brookings, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, as a result of an automobile accident. Visitations will be 4-7 P.M. Monday, October 29, 2018, at Eidsness Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, also at Eidsness Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake Campbell Lutheran Cemetery. 

Corey “Keebler” Donovan Kilber was born September 16, 1971, to Edwin and Linda (Blanchard) Kilber in Flandreau, South Dakota.  He was raised in Egan, SD, and graduated from Egan High School in 1990.  During high school, Corey excelled in football. 

Corey owned and operated Kilber Trucking.  He was extremely passionate about his career, and worked very hard to support his family.   Corey was an amazing husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  There was never a dull moment with Keebler.

Keebler enjoyed racing, riding motorcycle with his family, and trucking.  He will be remembered for always trying to make someone laugh, and was always being there in your time of need. 

Survivors include his wife, Brooke; children, Riley, Ty, and Jocelyn all of Brookings; his mother, Linda Kilber of Egan; sister, Pam Kahler of Volga; brother, Robert (Elaine) Kilber of Colman; step-brother, Allen (Malissa) Kilber and his family from IL; aunt, Phyllis Sona of Egan; uncle, Bob and family from NE; brother-in-law, Todd (Joy) Sween of Brookings; sister-in-law, Karla (Joel) Hein of Colman; nieces and nephews: Eva (Paul), Tiffany (Ernie), Justin (Danielle), Zach, Lindsey, Josh (Leah), Kyle, and Brianna; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and a host of close friends.  Keebler was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Kilber, and his father-in-law, David Sween.
