Colman family to get support through benefit on Sunday

Posted

St. Peter Parish in Colman is sponsoring a benefit for a family whose 13-year-old son has been doctoring at Mayo Clinic in Rochester since he was 2 years old.
The Ehrmantraut family soup and sandwich benefit is 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 13, at the church parish hall. There is a free-will offering for ongoing medical expenses for Auston Ehrmantraut, who has Neurofibromatosis Type 1.
Since September, Auston has had three back surgeries in Rochester, where he was in the hospital for several weeks. His mom, Kaye, has three boys and works fulltime. She stayed with Auston when he was hospitalized and lost income during that time.

The menu for the benefit includes soups, sandwiches, bars and a drink. Home delivery is available in Colman by calling 534-3802.
Checks can be mailed to St. Peter Church/Sts. Simon and Jude Church, 105 S. Bates St., Flandreau, SD, 57028. Mark payment as “Ehrmantraut Benefit.”
