Cole Harlee Doyle, 34, of Granada Hills, CA, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, from complications of undiagnosed diabetes.
Cole was born December 23, 1986, in Canoga Park, CA to Lee and Leslie Teltoe-Doyle. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, CA in 2005.   Cole worked as a successful BMW Shop Manager in the greater Los Angeles area for almost a decade.
As a child, Cole was a talented bowler, artist, honor student, and a dedicated Cub/Boy Scout. As an adult, he lived and appreciated a minimalistic lifestyle, camping, and spending quality time with his family and dearest friends. Cole always had project BMW and classic cars, was an avid gun enthusiast, a lover of all animals, and a collector of vintage typewriters. Cole’s biggest passion in life was to buy property and sustainably farm the land.  He spent the last couple of years of his life learning all that he could about it.
Cole’s heart of gold showed, as he was always helping family, friends, and strangers, without ever being asked. He was a beloved friend, a trusted guide and an advisor to many.  Cole will be dearly missed.
Cole is survived by his mother, Leslie Teltoe, his brother, Lucas Doyle; stepmother, Amy Doyle; stepsister, Grace Cope (Logan); stepbrothers Graham and Quinn Parkinson, all in California. Cole is also survived by his very special aunt and cousins in California, as well as many cherished cousins in South Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Doyle (formerly of Flandreau), and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Maxine (Brown) Doyle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cole’s memory to: City of Hope, Diabetes & Metabolism Research Institute, 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, CA 91010
