Cheryl L. Woodlee, age 59 of Goshen, Indiana, passed away Saturday February 25, 2017 at Goshen Hospital after becoming ill Thursday afternoon while teaching at Chandler Elementary School.

Cheryl Lynn was born April 19, 1957 in Madison, SD to Robert Gatts and Gloria Faye (Williams) Feske.

Cheryl graduated from Canova High School and Dakota State College in Madison, SD. On September 6, 1985 in Howard, S.D. she married Walter Woodlee.

She loved sharing her passion of music with her students. In South Dakota she directed the “Singing Plainsmen” for a number of years. Cheryl had a tremendous love for her family, enjoyed the special “Gloria Faye Days” gathering, cooking and horseback riding.

Cheryl is survived by her husband: Walter; son: Beau (Michelle) Paulson of Yankton, SD; three step-children: Bill (Bonnie) Woodlee of Elkhart IN, Doug (Rita) Woodlee of Barbourrville, KY and Sue Shaer of Middlebury IN; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and three brothers: Bob (Kristen) Gatts of Cushing, MN, Tom (Catherine) Gatts of Pine River, MN and David (Deb)Feske of Flandreau, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a grandson, Matthew Woodlee.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday March 18, 2017 @ 1pm Kinzley Funeral Home, Salem, SD
