Celebrate the 4th of July at the Museum

   The 23rd Annual Summerfest celebration (July 4th Good Old Summertime Festival) will be held at the Moody County Museum and grounds on Wednesday, July 4th from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.  There is no admission for the event.

 During the festival, picnic on the museum’s ground by choosing from the many different vendors that will have food there such as Shaved Ice, Indian tacos, Jenny’s Jammin Burritos, Annie’s Famous Eggrolls & Shish Kabobs *Eggrolls, Pork & Chicken Kabobs.  Enjoy the family-oriented entertainment on the Depot stage with music by Darlene Hemmer, Amy Ellsworth, “Youth Advent Capelle Singers”, “Adult” Capelle Singers, and the Flandreau City Band concert (Band Shell).

 Purchase Raffle Tickets for a chance to win a handmade Star quilt (Made by Cheryl Shaeffer).  Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.  The drawing will be held during the event at 1:30 p.m.

Local non-profit organizations and businesses will be staffing outdoor booths selling food, arts and crafts, and much, much more!

The Flandreau City Band will conclude the event with an outdoor concert at the Flandreau Band Shell, located next to the museum, beginning at 1 p.m.

There will be a Vinyl Record Collection for Sale inside the Museum
