CHESTER – The Colman-Egan girls took home the team title while the boys finished fourth at the Chester Booster Invitational on Tuesday.

Girls
The Hawks racked up 149 points to finish on top. Chester Area (114.5) was second.
Colman-Egan won six of the 18 events while adding four second-place finishes.
Reese Luze led the way, taking first in the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 38.5 seconds and the 1,600 with a 5:57.3 clocking.
Josie Mousel cleared 5 feet, 3 inches to win the high jump. She was third in the 200 (28.1).
Olivia Baumberger’s mark of 15-11 1/2 was tops in the long jump. She added a fourth-place showing in the 100 (13.53).
The Hawks crossed first in the 4x200 (1:54.4) and 4x800 (11:19.6) relays.

Mackenzie Hemmer was runner-up in both hurdles events, posting a time of 16.29 in the 100 meters and 51.8 in the 300. Madison Voelker took second in the high jump (4-5).
Colman-Egan took second in the 4x400 (4:48.5), third in the 4x100 (53.7) and fourth in the medley (5:14.9).
Abby Rhode was third in the 100 hurdles (19.36) and fourth in the 300 hurdles (56.6) and 1,600 (6:13.1).
Elizabeth Moore placed third in the long jump (14-3 1/2) and sixth in the 200 (29.7).
Berkley Groos finished fifth in the 400 (1:10.3) and Ava Mousel ended up sixth in the 3,200 (14:49.44).
Taking eighth were Hailey Larson in the 400 (1:14.6), Jessica Wittrock in the 800 (3:02.8) and Kennadi Landis in the triple jump (26-11 1/2).

Boys
Colman-Egan ended up with 80 team points. Tri-Valley (121), Chester (103) and Dell Rapids St. Mary (81) were first through third, respectively.
The Hawks swept the throws.
Alec Landis won the discus with a toss of 128-6. Dalton Voelker placed first in the shot put with a heave of 43-8 1/2.
Landis was second in the shot put (43-2 1/2) and Voelker was fifth in the discus (101-11).
Ryan Voelker took second in the 110 hurdles (17.18), fourth in the 300 hurdles (45.1) and sixth in the long jump (18-8).
Nate Tolley ended up third in the triple jump (36-10) and fourth in the long jump (18-11 1/2).
Eli Bowen was fourth in the 200 (25.2) and fifth in the 400 (58.4).
Jackson Wright placed sixth in the 3,200 (13:30.59).
Ben Zwart was seventh in the 800 (2:28.3) and eighth in the 1,600 (5:38.5).
Colman-Egan finished third in the 4x200 relay in 1:42.
