GARRETSON – Deubrook Area’s Bailey Landmark finished as medalist in the girls’ division, Gavin Landmark won in a playoff on the boys’ side, and the Dolphins girls and boys finished first and second, respectively, at the Jesse James Invitational held Friday at River Ridge Golf Course in Garretson.
In the nine-hole tournament, Bailey Landmark fired a 41 to win by three strokes over Flandreau’s Keva Bursheim.
Colman-Egan’s Berkley Groos shot a 50 to finish in a tie for ninth place.
In the boys’ competition Deubrook Area’s Gavin Landmark and Colman-Egan’s Taylor Kriech posted matching scores of 39 to tie for first. Gavin Landmark would prevail in a sudden death playoff as his par on the second playoff hole bettered Kriech to win medalist honors.
The Sawyer Uhing tied for 13th with a 44.
