COLMAN – Nate Tolley and Colman-Egan beat Dell Rapids St. Mary 44-26 in the marquee Dakota Valley Conference matchup of the regular season on Friday night.
Tolley ran for 141 yards and five touchdowns while throwing for 18 yards. He also intercepted a pass.
The senior had a pair of 4-yard TD rushes in the first quarter. Eli Bowen’s two-point conversion following the second score made it 14-0.
Both offenses were active in the second.
The Cardinals’ Connor Libis hit Weston Geraets for a 20-yard TD toss.
Tolley answered with a 1-yard plunge to paydirt and added the two-pointer.
Libis got free for a 19-yard scoring scamper later in the period and then ran in the two-point conversion
Tolley had another 1-yard TD run and again added the two-pointer to put the home team ahead 30-14 at halftime.
Libis cut the deficit to 30-20 with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Eli Longville in the third.

The Hawks retook control in the fourth as Chase Hemmer ran 7 yards to the end zone. Tolley found Dalton Voelker for the two-point conversion to put CE ahead 38-20.
Libis answered again with a 4-yard TD rush.
Tolley then put the game away with his fifth scoring run – a 12-yarder.
Colman-Egan had 317 yards on 48 rushes.
Bowen picked up 131 yards. Hemmer ran for 45 yards and hauled in both passes for 18 yards.
Bowen paced the defense with 12 tackles, including a sack. Ryker Hawkins added 10 stopes, Hemmer nine and Voelker eight.
Libis had a hand in four TDs for the Cardinals. He ran for 86 yards and a pair of scores while going 9-of-17 for 75 yards with two touchdowns and an INT through the air.
Longville had 16 tackles and Geraets 14.
Colman-Egan moved to 7-0 (4-0). DRSM dropped to 6-1 (3-1).
Regular-season play concludes Friday.

ESTELLINE – Colman-Egan beat Estelline/Hendricks 52-0 in a Dakota Valley Conference football game Friday night.
The Hawks’ Eli Bowen had touchdown runs of 78 and 2 yards.
Chase Hemmer added TD rushes of 45 and 6 yards.
Ryan Voelker scored on a 52-yard scamper and Nate Tolley added a 19-yard dash to paydirt.
