ARLINGTON – Arlington rallied to hand Colman-Egan its first Dakota Valley Conference volleyball loss of the season, winning by the set scores of 19-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23 and 15-13 on Thursday.
The Hawks dropped to 13-4 (5-1).
Braiden Westley had 14 kills, 17 digs, three aces and two blocks. Mackenzie Hemmer also contributed 14 kills. Olivia Baumberger chipped in with 11 kills and five blocks.
Jordan Wittrock (26) and Kennady Landis (17) combined for 43 set assists. Elizabeth Moore notched 19 digs and netted three aces.
For the Cardinals (7-15, 3-2), Hadley Carlson racked up 22 kills, two blocks and 17 digs. Jennica Weiss and Jael Lundquist both added eight kills. Grace Parry guided the offense with 44 set assists while also recording four ace serves and a trio of blocks. Kasey Pistulka came up with 14 digs. Erin Haufschild tallied four aces.
